The aim of this study is to review capabilities based on the needs of different areas in relation to command and management of the war scene in I.R. of Iran. This research is an applied study regarding its orientation, and a descriptive one considering its purpose. In order to attain the goals of this study, at first, by studying the background and theoretical literature of the topic and interviewing the experts, the field of war was categorized into three areas of command, management, and strategic levels. Then, by selecting a statistical sample from the statistical population (including National Defense faculty professors and graduates), the results were categorized using Cochran formula with 85 participants, obtaining opinions, using a researcher-made questionnaire and mixed research method (causal-comparative and structural equations) and chi-square test. As a result of the research, while dividing the war scene into three areas of command, management and strategic levels, the capabilities and needs of each of these three regions have been identified in order to provide efficient human resources training and commensurate with the needs of the future war scene of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

Managing staff performance for an organization has many obvious and hidden advantages, because its proper implementation improves their performance and thereby enhances the organization productivity. This research is an applied and developmental, descriptive, qualitative and cross-sectional study regarding its purpose, method, nature of data, and time of data collection, respectively. The method of data collection was a library one, and the aim of this study is to present a model of staff performance management in military research centers using literature review and case study. In this paper, after explaining the research problem, the aims and questions of the research, the necessity of analyzing performance management are described and the theoretical foundations and concepts of performance management are defined. Then the advantages of implementing performance management and performance management indicators are identified and selected. After answering the research questions, the research model is formed and the relationship between its main components is explained. In this research, in order to assess the validity of the model, the experiences and opinions of organizational and academic experts were used and in a two-month period, a questionnaire was used to assess all validity dimensions including content validity and indicators related to the proposed model's reliability in a military research center. Cronbach's alpha was 0.90, which indicates a higher reliability of this instrument, and the results of the t-test indicate the consistency of the model and the indicators introduced in it.

Nowadays, the two concepts of leadership and ethics are entwined and have attracted organizations and managers attention. The aim of this study is to provide a strategic model for ethical leadership in I.R. of Iran's Defense Industry Organization. In order to design the model, a qualitative method and a data-driven strategy with a 'Glaser' approach were used. The study population consisted of defense industry experts who had theoretical and practical knowledge of the subject under study. Semi-structured interviews were conducted with 22 participants in this community. The analysis of the interviews texts was done through content analysis and Glazer coding, which included both real and theoretical coding. The "Six C" coding family was used for theoretical coding. Each C represents a general concept. The first C denotes causes that include individual and organizational characteristics. The second C indicates correlated factors that include human resource and training systems. The third C refers to the mediating conditions that involve managing the communication and organizational ethics. The fourth C denotes requirements that include religion, organizational climate, and organizational culture. The fifth C refers to results or outcomes, which include extracurricular value creation, behavioral and organizational psychological improvement. The sixth C denotes an environmental context that includes ethics-based environment, external pressure conditions, competitors' immoral conditions, and external organizational sanctions.

The present research was conducted with the aim of investigating and evaluating the work ethics theory in the armed forces based on the foundations of the philosophy of science and sociology and employed a qualitative method. To this end, using library studies and semi-structured interviews with experts, the fundamental assumptions regarding the philosophical foundations of business ethics theory (ontology, epistemology, anthropology and methodology) and sociological foundations are identified, and following that based on objective-subjective and regulatory-change doctrine, the paramount fundamental paradigm assessment of the work ethic theory in the armed forces has been evaluated. The statistical population of the study consists of senior managers and faculty members of leading academic centers in the armed forces. The statistical sample was selected by purposive method from 11 persons. Data analysis was performed using the content analysis method. Finally, the results of the study indicate an objective-subjective approach to the theory of work ethics in the armed forces from the perspective of philosophical foundations and a regulated perspective in explaining sociological foundations. Also, according to the proposal, the theory of work ethics in the armed forces has been evaluated within the domain of the prevailing intellectual-functionalist views.
