Media in the era of network communication as a tool and platform for transmitting sound and image is the most important indicator of civilization in the current era. The speed of paradigm changes and successive developments in the world depict new scenarios for the future. In these scenarios, the boldest roles are given to the media. Today, many institutions are trying to create a sense of security in the society. The National Media Institution is one of these institutions. The national media is effective in weakening the security foundations; It can also be effective in creating and consolidating it. This media can act by removing the storm of feeling of insecurity from the mental space of people and society in such a way that while reflecting the realities, it refrains from exaggerating anomalies and shortcomings and plays a role in promoting the feeling of military security.
The purpose of this article is to explain the role of the national media in promoting the sense of military security of the Islamic Republic of Iran. For this purpose, after carrying out library studies, a questionnaire was distributed, then the collected information was analyzed using Spss software, and the results of the research hypothesis of "national media with expert human resources, systems and equipment" technological and up-to-date and production of quality and effective programs plays a role in improving the sense of military security of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
